Traditional craftsmanship

With a lot of manual skill all the made-to-measure parts of the suit are sewn together to an individuel sample in more than 250 working operations.

For the first class outfit, only fine horsehair inlets and buttons of buffalo horn are being used. The thinner the fabric, the more difficult it is to sew especially to obtain perfection in searing the seams and the button holes. As Peter Herschemann uses fabric of high quality only (i.e. pure new wool Super 100īS - Super 200īS) extreme manuel skill is beeing required during the whole sewing process.
